rice rice baby

Rice is most important crop for more than half of the world's population. Rice are produced around 633 million tons each year. But according to European Association for Bioindustries, in the next 20 years 633 million tons of rice each year won’t be enough. One of the factors causing this would be “problematic weather conditions such as flooding and drought, [which are] brought on by climate change, are putting strains on global food production.” This would definitely halt the economic growth of rice production in certain countries such as the Philippines and Brazil. Also, not enough rice would not provide for the people’s needs.
